The Atlanta Braves experimented with placing fireworks at the top of their massive scoreboard for Opening Day. Unfortunately, they didn't take into account how close the American Flag would be to the new pyrotechnics and set the Star Spangled Banner ablaze for a second before the flag's flame retardant kicked in.
