Pretty weak schedule today as far as college football is concerned, so let's play a game of "What If". I'm sure you've probably heard that it was confirmed that the University of Texas reached out to Alabama Head Coach, Nick Saban, about taking over coaching the Longhorns should Mack Brown retire. These two teams have gone in opposite directions since meeting in the 2010 BCS Championship Game as Saban has coached the Crimson Tide to two more championships and Brown has seen the Longhorns slip to mediocrity. What if Saban did take over the Longhorns? Would he have the same level of success as he has had at Alabama? If Brown does retire (or is asked to resign) who should replace him if Saban isn't available? Just some questions to ponder as you enjoy the last batch of cupcakes before the first full week of conference play.
