Back then, the Colorado Rockies, Miami Marlins, Tampa Bay Rays and Arizona Diamondbacks didn't even exist. Since then, 21 new stadiums have been built and 1,623,224,138 people have been born, all of whom have never lived in a world where the Pirates were contenders. So can this Band of Buccaneers make a deep run into October or will they be one and done?
