Bizarre news in the world of baseball today. The Atlanta Braves announced that they will move into a new ballpark in Cobb County, Georgia in 2017 after their lease on Turner Field expires at the end of the 2016 season. The Braves have only played at Turner Field since 1997, but the team says the park is in need of nearly $200 million in renovations and repairs and the park is located in an area difficult to travel to and it has never had anything close to an ideal parking situation. Commissioner Bud Selig came out and said he supports the Braves decision to relocate to a new stadium.
