After months of debate it is finally official: Alex Rodriguez will not play for the Yankees (or anyone for that matter) in 2014. The arbitrator in A-Rod's case agreed that the 211 game suspension handed down by Major League Baseball was a little steep, but a full season was sufficient. Rodriguez issued a statement stating he intends to take his case all the way to federal court, saying he is being singled out for no reason. While not a clear victory for Rodriguez or MLB, it's certainly a victory for MLB's drug policy. Read the ruling and reactions from both parties over at ESPN New York. http://es.pn/KNr1mS
