After missing five weeks, 49ers Linebacker, Aldon Smith will be added to the active roster. Smith checked himself into an alcohol treatment center on September 23, just a few short days after being arrested a second time for suspicion of drunk driving. The 49ers went 4-1 in Smith’s absence and currently sit in 2nd place in the NFC West just one game behind the Seattle Seahawks.
